HANDMADE IN LOS ANGELES

The intentional design allows collectors of all types and sizes of bottles, from half to magnum, to serve their wines with a single cradle.

Each cradle is handmade in Los Angeles by a small team of local artisans and offered in multiple finish variations. A true collaboration between function and design, Portae strives to help you elevate the final moment of wine service.

THE TEAM BEHIND THE PRODUCT

A partnership between the wine professional Ryan Bailey and the design firm Klein Agency, Portae is a company focusing on customizable service related small wares and the first ever three format wine cradle.

A friendship across industries brought Portae into being, and the team’s focus on quality and malleability, make the Portae Wine Cradle a timeless addition to any wine drinker’s collection.

how to use

Holding the cradle from under its leather sling, pull the bottle from the cellar taking care to maintain an angle consistent with its storage.

While tucked into the leather sling of the cradle, carefully remove the foil and the cork to prepare for service.

Holding the cradle from its handles, pour the wine into a glass or decanter, taking care not to allow sediment to move past the neck of the bottle.
